1. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age requirement for the service and comply with all applicable laws. You agree to provide accurate account and verification information.
2. Verification and trust
SYNC may require entry verification, full identity verification, or additional safety checks before certain features become available. False identity information, impersonation, spoofing, or attempts to bypass verification can result in suspension or permanent removal.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use SYNC for harassment, stalking, fraud, exploitation, abuse, illegal activity, or interference with platform security. Zero-tolerance safety enforcement may result in immediate action against an account.
4. Guardian and safety tools
Guardian and related safety features are optional platform tools and do not replace emergency services. You are responsible for using these tools appropriately and understanding their limitations.
5. Subscriptions and paid features
Some features may require verification, a paid subscription, or both. Trial access, subscription tiers, billing, and renewal rules are determined by the service configuration and the relevant store provider.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may investigate reports, review trust signals, moderate content, limit visibility, block features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where necessary to protect the network and its users.
7. Intellectual property
SYNC, BlackSite Labs branding, and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the service beyond permitted personal use.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect safety outcomes, or compatibility with every device or network condition.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlackSite Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including user conduct, outages, or third-party failures.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable Norwegian law unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
11. Regional consumer and privacy protections
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer, privacy, or advertising laws in your region, including rights that may apply in Norway, the EEA, the UK, or certain US states. 12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates take effect means you accept the revised terms.
